As well as performing, there is a huge range of behind-the-scenes activities to take part in. A typical production has a cast and crew about 80 members. In fact, LOS is made up of about 200 members of all ages and from all walks of life. Why not join us?

LOS usually stages two productions each year, and we even take shows to our twin towns of Blois in France and Waldshut in Germany. The society often puts on concerts and performs at functions too. Whether you are interested in performing or if you would like to help behind the scenes, there are a huge number of activities in which to get involved.

There are also social events throughout the year - trips to see West End shows, country walks with pub lunches, stoolball and dwyle-flunking matches, summer garden parties, a Christmas dinner-dance, quiz nights and even a Eurovision party! Plus, there is a cheap members' bar (or even a members' cheap bar), a quarterly news letter (The Tower Times) and priority booking on tickets.
